Starts and ends at Lake Melvin Park, Dane, WI It’s got some descent-sized hills and an overall elevation increase of 1,800 feet.

Be sure to check out the Dane Dash Bike Tour 2015 coming up on June 27th – it’s a paved-road tour through northern Dane and southern Columbia counties. The event features two routes:

• The “Family Fun Dash” is a five-mile route between Dane and Waunakee. It’s the perfect ride for kids, families and less experienced riders.
• The “Just Do It Dash” is a 32-mile route that offers a bit more challe

nge and is great for more serious riders. If you’re looking for a challenge or some training for other cycling events, this one’s for you! C’mon…just do it. After you’ve conquered The Dash, stick around for the Dane Firefighter’s Festival – food, beverages, baseball, bands – and the best beer tent around.
