As our nation marks 250 years of independence, this celebration honors not only our country’s founding, but the enduring spirit of service found right here at home. From first responders and veterans to educators, healthcare professionals, and community leaders, this event recognizes the heroes whose commitment helps shape the future. 🇺🇸

This event is FREE ENTRY to the public and will feature all of your favorite Fourth of July staples! From food vendors, live music, adult beverages, and the best fireworks show you will ever see, we will have it all! 🌭🎆🍦🍺

The event will also offer activities for children and adults. From bounce houses, facepainting, co****le, and more - get ready for a spectacular Fourth of July Celebration! 🎉

In Loving Memory of Arthur W. Parks, Jr.

The Luzerne County Fair family is deeply saddened by the passing of Arthur W. Parks, Jr.

Arthur was more than a supporter of our fair—he was one of our own. As the former Head of Buildings and Grounds for the Luzerne County Fairgrounds, he dedicated countless hours to helping maintain and improve the fairgrounds we all enjoy today. His hard work, commitment, and pride in our fair left a lasting mark on our organization and community.

Arthur was also a proud veteran who served his country with honor in the U.S. Army and Federal Reserves, a dedicated member and past commander of the Daddow Isaacs American Legion Post 672, and a founding member of the American Legion Riders.

We are grateful for the years Arthur spent serving the Luzerne County Fair and for the friendships and memories he shared with so many of us. He will be remembered for his dedication, his willingness to help, and the positive impact he made on our fair family.

Please join us in extending our heartfelt condolences to Melanie, Tara, and the entire Parks family during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Arthur. Thank you for all you did for the Luzerne County Fair. You will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. ❤️🌾🎡

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, the Luzerne County Fair proudly remembers our fallen heroes and extends heartfelt gratitude to the military families who carry their legacy forward.

As we gather with family, friends, and community, may we never forget the courage, service, and sacrifice that protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙
