After settling back in to real life this week I am reflecting on my time at Miss for America and all I can think about is the amazing team that got me to that stage and believed in me the entire way.

25 years later, we remember. 🇺🇸

Today we honor the lives taken too soon, the families who carry their memory, and the first responders and heroes whose courage and selflessness continue to inspire us, like my brother who is a firefighter here in Midland.

May we never forget those we lost, always honor those who serve, and continue choosing to serve one another in their memory. 🇺🇸

Back to where it all started. 👑❤️

When I was 16 I entered the Miss Permian Basin Fair pageant and I knew from that moment I loved pageants. Today, I was pulled from the crowd and asked if I would do the honors of crowning each of the divisional winners.

This was such a full circle moment because although I never won the fair pageant, I always love to watch the girls compete on a stage where I once stood. And today I got to crown them. Thank you to the Permian Basin Fair for allowing me the honor to crown each winner and congratulations to them all. 🙌🏼💐
