This time last Sunday, January 13th at 9:41A, to be exact, my Prince was born. This picture says everything! The pain, happiness, relief... captured the birth of my son perfectly and I am amazed at not only me but women in general. I had the opportunity to do a home water birth and actually did it! I am still on cloud nine!
Thank you so much, to not only my birthing team but women I truly love for getting me through this. I would not have gotten through it so smoothly if they weren’t such a force behind me, letting me know I got this! , , and . I will say thank you forever. You’ve given me something that will forever influence me. You believed in me, guided me, empowered me, you supported me and you helped me deliver my little August.

Thank you so much . I will always be grateful to you for what you have given me and for sharing our birth story of August. You have inspired so many and brings me to tears every time.
August and I are healing great! I am already back to working on cakes. Bitter sweet but a Mama’s gotta do what a Mama’s gotta do! 😅
