Stuff to know!!!

The Cost is $60 per day (ALL YOU CAN RACE!!!!!) That is right all you can race per your USAC License. DISCOUNT APPLIED AT CHECKOUT!!!

You have the option to add a lunch Gift card for the Pizza Restaurant that is build into the park. Feeding more than 1 person? Would probably get 2 gift cards!!

We will be using Race Result chip timing.

If you do not have one please purchase one prior to the event through TurboVelo (contact Judge Rucker via FB price is $75).

We will only have rentals on-site for $5 per event.

Thank you for racing the 36th Matrix Challenge! A few notes:

1. All riders must check in with Registration, which will be located at the Brewery, behind the finish line. Registration & Check-in will end 20 minutes prior to each race. Please be prompt. Onsite registration is available and can take both cash and cards as payment.

2. Please park in the parking lot at The Cotton Mill, which is just west of Tupps. Do not park on Anderson Street, which is the street leading to the Brewery. Additionally, overflow parking will be on Amscott

3. We will be using the same numbers as the McKinney Wednesday Night Crits. If you have raced with us in 2019, please bring your number. Numbers will be on the left. If you forget your number, just let us know and we’ll replace it.

4. The Brewery will be open, with various sporting events on the TV’s (especially A&M vs Auburn at 2:30, WHOOP!), Jillibean BBQ from 8am-1pm and Helen’s Hot Chicken starting at noon. Scott Ellison will be DJ for the races all day plus there will be a musician, Jimmy Barcus, inside the brewery starting at 1pm.

We hope y'all will join us in person out at TUPPS Brewery and see the high-speed racing in person. Tupps offers a great venue with wide open space to see the entire race and interesting chicane mid lap.

Matrix Challenge 2019, 09/21/2019, McKinney

Unfortunately, the rumors are true.The North Texas Cycling community is losing its long-time race venue for the Matrix Challenge, the Meadows Foundation’s Swiss Avenue Historic District for this season. As the longest, continuously run bike race in Texas with a 30-plus year history, Matrix Challenge has incorporated alternate venues in past years and is now seeking a new date and venue for 2019. Stay tuned for updates!

We’re grateful to Meadows Foundation for ten years of epic bike racing action, memories and fellowship along its storied, tree-lined avenues. The North Texas cycling community has revelled in the physical challenge of technical courses and the excitement of breath-taking victories. We hope this isn’t a ‘good-bye,’ but a ‘see you later.’

In the meantime, we look forward to turning the page and bringing you a new venue to keep the Matrix Challenge tradition alive. Watch for upcoming race announcements here over the coming weeks.
