We’re deeply saddened by the passing of the great Robert Duvall. His visit, along with Luciana Pedraza Duvall, meant so much to all of us at de/f2 and to the entire film community across DFW. Thank you, Mr. Duvall, for the stories, the heart, and the legacy you shared with the world. Rest peacefully, your light will always stay with us.

DEEP ELLUM FILM FESTIVAL 25th ANNIVERSARY GATHERING - January 2

The 25th Anniversary of the Deep Ellum Film Festival presented by DEFMAN is upon us! Started in 1999 by a volunteer group of rebels who loved Deep Ellum, indie films, music, arts and had a burning desire to help those fighting cancer.

Join us as raise a drink or two at St Pete's Dancing Marlin. We may even head to Adairs for a nightcap.

Check it – Earth Day Texas and The Polyphonic Spree are part of D Magazine's top recommendations for this weekend!

Earth Day Texas will cap off its two-day event with an appearance by the Polyphonic Spree at Fair Park on Sunday. This is the group’s last area appearance before leaving for an overseas tour in June, so it may be your last chance to see them until well into the summer.
