It's a blessing when it rains. The water purifies our thoughts....it's more than just tribal lore. This isn't romantized or glorified traditions. Tribes chose where to setup camps based on water proximity. Our ancestors prayed over the same waters many tribes still hold sacred today. Those same ancestors, too, at some point or another, would have seen water sources become in jeopardy. Thus, "Water - - It Is Life!" Tonight, we will conduct church/ceremony/prayer/ritual starting with a cedar blessing. Immediately following the cedar will be a women-led water ceremony, prayer, and to***co offering. There will be no seats, unless one cannot stand on their own accord. This is a spiritual-participation event.

How important is water to our survival? Well, the answer is - - CRITICALLY IMPORTANT!

Our drinking water is at jeopardy. We must do what we can, today, while we can, to ensure the safe drinking water for future generations to come. Please join us on this special night to pray in harmony with people all over the world that our water sources will no longer be in jeopardy. We are witnessing a lot of corporate and government greed ruin things we call holy. We, the people, are in charge of tending to Mother Earth. May everything we hold sacred, from trees, water sources, mountains, lands, and everything in between, not be dictated by man, but the One God, Creator.
