๐ฃ๐ฃHave you heard the news?๐ฃ๐ฃ
No, we are not canceling TumblerCon 2024.
We wanted to call each and every person involved in the event before we announced it publicly. And while we are waiting for some to return our call, we thought we would set the rumors straight.
Due to the economy, we are restructuring the event in hopes of providing relief for everyone involved.
TumblerCon is about being the largest tumbler convention while providing a variety products and instruction for all our attendees.
Unfortunately, the harsh truth is the dollar doesn't get you as far these days. With costs rising across the board, we have heard from so many vendors and attendees that they aren't sure they can make it. And while we would love to throw the big, amazing in-person event you are accustomed to, it's doesn't look to be in the cards this year.
We wanted to announce changes before it was too late, and we don't want our ticket holders to show up to something less than we promised. So, for that reason we have restructured the event. We have reached out to all our pending ticket holders and have given them the option to refund, switch to virtual or attend our TumblerCon retreat.
We will continue to sell virtual tickets through March 1, at a discounted price than the original in person event, to most of our classes. We hope this will help anyone who is struggling to afford ticket costs and the price of travel. This will include many of our talented instructors with the same designs and techniques as our in-person event. This will also include our AMAZING supply bag just as before!
We also have our all-inclusive retreat. We have done this in the past and we are excited to bring this more personable experience back to TumblerCon. Most years, the retreat is not an option due to the large number of attendees and vendors. But with smaller groups, this is one of our favorite TumblerCon experiences. 4 days, 3 nights, lodging and food included, we spend the entire girls weekend crafting away with even more possibilities and creations! This bag will be even larger than our VIP bag. This is an amazing opportunity to save on food and lodging while still getting the small class size experience!
And not to forget our vendors! We know stocking up on inventory and then getting it shipped to TumblerCon is a huge expense for any business, and especially during these hard times. We will be working on a "QVC Inspired" event for our vendors to demo and display products virtually! More information on this will be coming soon!
We know this isn't the TumblerCon you have grown to know and love. But we know this will still be an amazing and successful opportunity for all who join us. We look forward to great events in 2024 and we look forward to coming back bigger and better at the next convention!
Stay tuned for more info and ticket availability on our virtual and retreat options later this week!
