Urban Arts Summer Camp registration is now open for Summer 2026.

July 6 through July 24, 2026
Ages 6 to 18

Students will train in:
Acting
Dance
Music
Costume Design
Lighting
Scenic Design
Stage Management

Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided daily.

Registration fees are waived for students who live in or attend school in 75241, 75210, 75215, 75216, and 75217.

Join us this summer for three weeks of creativity, collaboration, and performance.

What an incredible weekend at the 3rd Annual Urban Arts Festival! Thank you to everyone who participated. We were inspired by wonderful film and panel discussions, captivated by poetry and invigorated by music as we danced and leaned into an outstanding one-woman show.

Dallas, we appreciate your incredible support. See you next year!

Ink N Soul hosted by Black Ceasar was a beautiful time! Dallas' new Poet Laureate did not disappoint and neither did the immensely talented team of artists that joined him onstage tonight. Ironically, we cannot put the evening into words.....

Thank you to all who came to support Day 1 of Urban Arts Festival!! The DFW Black Film Festival with outstanding screenings by filmmakers Jirard, Sam Henderson and Judah Agbonkhina, to name a few, were some of the highlights from today's festival!

ANOTHER highlight was the enlightening panel of filmmakers, Kamen Casey, Sam Henderson, Jirard and Michael Foster, who shared personal experiences in creating as independent artists. Moderated by Tonya Holloway, another well respected filmmaker, they gave us a peek into their processes and style. We are overjoyed to have had this team of talented creators start our evening off with excitement and give us encouragement to continue pursuing what makes our hearts speak!
