Thank you to Polk County who was able to find Frosty and keep him safe!

We will be looking over his injuries and we look forward to having him back soon.

We need your help!

The wind carried Frosty away from the Courthouse last night!

If you find him, please DM us, leave a comment, or return him to the Visitors Center at 184 SE Oak Street.

Wondering how the clues to the gnome all fit together? Here is the explanation for each clue below!

1️⃣In the first clue, it was just letting people know he was in Dallas and only as far as a person with short legs could walk from citizens bank, so within a couple of miles….. about how long you walk a kid or a dog at the most…. 😊

2️⃣In the second clue it was letting people know it was in a place open only dawn to dusk (a park) and under a familiar looking tree (looks like a Christmas tree)

3️⃣In the 3rd clue the “peaceful spot” is a nod to the peace pole on the park’s entrance. The little birdsong is because of the bird deterrents the neighbor to the park has next to the tree on his fence. And the reference to the “eagles landing” is for the pavilion that was constructed from the boy scouts about 15 years ago.

Thank you to everyone who was so involved this year! The gnome looks forward to hiding from you all next year 😉

The parade committee would like to issue an enormous thank you to the Chemeketa Polk Center and Chemeketa Community College for providing much needed volunteers for the parade. Also, a special shout out to The City of Dallas, Oregon for coordinating the logistics flawlessly. Thank you parade participants for amazing entries and thank you sponsors for providing the support we needed. The Christmas Town volunteers are amazing and deserve a ton of accolades as well as this community for coming out and giving our parade a wonderful audience.

We are so appreciative! Let's do it again next year!
