Our Spring Basketball program is for K –8th grade (Grade - Fall 2024/Spring 2025)
You may play up one grade, but you may not play down a grade.
This is a co-ed program, with the majority of players being boys.�This is a parent volunteer coach program. Please consider volunteering to coach your child's team!�
There will be 8 games and 1 practice per week.
Games and practices will take place at either:
The Den (formerly Sun Automotive) Sports Complex (17120 House & Hahl Rd, Cypress, TX 77433) OR
CFISD Middle School Gyms (TBD)

GAME DAYS/SCHEDULES: There will be one game per week. Game Days: M -F evenings between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm and/or Saturday mornings starting at 8:00am. *K-2nd will be during the week.
PRACTICE SCHEDULES: Practice Days/Times/Locations are all SELECTED by the volunteer head coach assigned to your player’s team after registration (M – F evenings between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm). There will be one practice per week. You cannot register with limitations on days you can practice. This is up to your volunteer coach.
NOTIFICATION OF TEAM ASSIGNMENT: After registration closes, the basketball committee will begin the process of forming teams and assigning coaches. Once the volunteer coaches’ background checks have been completed, rosters will be released to your player’s coach at the coaches meeting (not before). Please understand you will not receive any team notification prior to the coaches meeting. These coaches will reach out to you via e-mail, so please watch the e-mail listed in your child’s profile. If your child’s team is in need of a volunteer coach, you will receive notification with a deadline to find a coach prior to the coaches meeting.
FRIEND/COACH REQUEST: You can request a friend or coach, but it is not a guarantee. The Basketball Committee will do their best to accommodate, but in some cases, it is not possible.
COACHES REGISTRATION: Please consider volunteering to coach or help coach your child’s team! You can register as a Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager at the same time you register your child! CFSA is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization. You DO NOT need to have experience! Everyone from the President of our board, board members, commissioners, coaches and team contacts all voluntarily give their time to ensure that our players have a great experience. We allow people to co-coach with someone else if that option fits your schedule better. Coaches must be adults (21 years of age or older) and pass a yearly background check to ensure the safety of our players.
UNIFORMS: Team Reversible Jersey will be provided. Parents to provide shorts, socks, and court shoes.
