🎾 Junior ALTA Updates🎾

It’s hard to believe the Fall ALTA season will be starting soon! We’re excited to have a few teams this season in the neighborhood! This fall, we’ll have three boys’ teams competing: 10U, 12U, and 15U. Practices will be scheduled soon, and the season runs from September 6 – October 18, with playoffs beginning October 25 and City Finals on November 1. 🏆

15U Boys – Ken Austin

This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to get active, improve their tennis skills, and have a blast competing as a team. Let’s go, Junior ALTA! 🎾

📣Hey There! With summer in full swing, a friendly reminder to always turn off the court lights when you’re finished playing for the night. There have been some complaints received from residents about Courts 1 & 2 lights being left on overnight. We are currently working on timers for the lights, but in the meantime, please remember to turn off the lights as you’re leaving. Thank you! 🎾

I hope everyone had a great weekend of tennis! It was perfect weather!

We have a new offering for drills (info below!) in addition to our current offerings. For the ladies, we have drills at 9:30 am on Fridays with Coach Lew. All levels welcome. And for the gents, Friday mornings at 8 with Chris. 🎾

These drills are designed for advanced players (3.5+) looking to develop their game and focus on strategy, ball placement, quick reaction and more. Players enjoy Casey’s fun, fast-paced style and his no-nonsense approach to finishing the points. Join us this week and rsvp through GroupMe (link is below)

High Performance Tennis Drills

Hey everyone! We will be collecting items for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
Posting a list of items most needed, below ⬇️
You can bring items to us at the upper tennis courts before or during the GLASS Championship Matches this Saturday at 6pm.
If you can’t make it Saturday but would still like to donate, please feel free to reach out to the members of the tennis committee and we will arrange a meet up time 😊

Registration is officially OPEN for CLASS!

CLASS (aka C Level Ladies ASS tennis)

Our goal is to have enough people register that we can have a daytime and evening league of CLASS!

How to do you register?

1. Venmo $35 (per player) and include if you’d like to play in the DAY or EVENING league. This is assuming we’re able to divide the divisions accordingly.

2. Want to be added to the CLASS GroupMe? Message me “CLASS”, your first and last name, and your email address and I’ll add you.

3. Registration ENDS on July 27th @ 11:59 pm. That’s one week from this Saturday!! Don’t wait!! Get it checked off today, so you don’t miss out! 🎾✔️

4. Season runs for 9 weeks (July 29th-September 28th); with about 4-5 matches depending on registration.

5. September 29th- 1st round of playoffs

6. Championship will be on October 5th 🤩

This is a great opportunity to get some match practice in before the ALTA fall seasons starts up and meet some great people while you’re at it!
