The Tower House

🍂🍁What an amazing day at The Tower House yesterday for Fall Fest! We were once again blown away by the turnout and are so grateful for this community!

Special thank you to some people who made this all possible-

-Our star employee Ana & her lovely Mom who helped coordinate many logistics and handmade + setup our fall backdrop & decorations ✨🤎 it turned out so adorable!! 🥰

-Our Mini Maker’s Market vendors - Jen's Homemade Pup & Kitty Treats / Little Loaves Home Bakery / Grandma’s Kitchen / Made by Madison Mayer - what a great addition to our fall fest by offering amazing homemade products… most left with little to none to bring back. Thank you for supporting these vendors! 🤍

-RJ’s Almosta Farm for hosting a petting zoo!! Rare birds & more for all the kids to pet and interact with, we are so lucky that they were able to be apart of our fall fest. We heard it was a great time for all the families! ✨🤍

-Betsy & Jim Jones for supplying fresh pumpkins from their garden for all the kids to paint & decorate!! 🎃

-Our amazing staff who worked extremely hard to make all the food & drink as perfect and fast as possible! This day could not have been possible without the team! ⚡️

And lastly- to all of our customers who show up to these big days that we put so much thought into. We aren’t able to do these cool things without your support. Thank you!

Happy Fall and we can’t wait for next year! 🍂🍁🤎

☕⚡🤎 Happy National Coffee Day! ☕⚡🤎 There’s a little more behind our coffee than what’s in the cup. ⚡Read below!

We’re proud to serve coffee roasted by B+W Specialty Coffee, a Minneapolis micro-roaster crafting exceptional coffee since 1992. ☕️ Their organic, Fair Trade beans are thoughtfully sourced and roasted in small batches for incredible flavor, and that quality is a huge part of what makes Lightning Bolt Coffee so dang good. ⚡

And the name Lightning Bolt Coffee? That part is personal. ❤️

Pearl Jam has always been a favorite of Dan & Rachel’s, and Lightning Bolt is one of Dan’s favorite songs. 🎤⚡ The song describes this unforgettable woman who comes crashing into your life like a force of nature- and includes the lines “You gotta know you’ll never let her go” and “She’s a lightning bolt.” ⚡ Dan has always felt those words could have been written about Rachel.

So when it came time to name our coffee shop, Lightning Bolt Coffee just felt right. It's a tribute to Pearl Jam and a reminder of what got us to where we are.

Great coffee. A little rock & roll. And a name that means something to us. ☕️⚡❤️ Thank you so much for letting us serve you! ☕️

Check out this awesome video highlighting a day so near and dear to our hearts… back in May when we had a our grand reveal day and showcased our short-term rental rooms 🤍 Girl Boss Photography - the kindest human who always supports us! THANK YOU!

This past May, I attended the Open House for The Tower House in Cumberland, WI.

Of course, I brought my camera so I could bring you along.

Sharing this video is long overdue, but I hope you'll take a quiet moment to join me for a quick look inside one of Cumberland’s most charming local gems.

Full story and video dropping soon—grab a cup of tea and enjoy the preview.
