A young musician saying thank you in his own words is the kind of moment that reminds us why this work matters. 🥁✨

We’re proud to share this student-impact moment featuring Elliot Rosenberg.

Elliot received new gear through JEXA’s student support work, and he took the time to thank JEXA and
Guitar Center for helping make it possible.

For a young musician, equipment is never just something to own. It becomes part of the daily work: the practice, the discipline, the listening, the confidence, and the sound they are slowly learning to shape.

Jazz grows in rooms like this before it ever reaches a stage. It grows when students are given real tools, steady encouragement, and a community that believes their music is worth investing in.

A heartfelt thank you to Guitar Center for supporting this moment and helping Elliot continue his musical journey. Your support means something real to Elliot and to the next generation of musicians JEXA is working to encourage, recognize, and uplift.

Elliot, we are proud of you. Keep playing. 🎶

More than gear. A young musician feeling supported. 🥁✨

We’re proud to share this student-impact moment featuring Elliot Rosenberg.

This is the exact gear Elliot Rosenberg received through JEXA’s student support work. For a young musician, equipment like this is not just something to own. It becomes part of daily practice, discipline, confidence, listening, growth, and sound.

At JEXA, we believe young jazz musicians need more than applause after they perform. They need access to real tools that help them keep developing when nobody is watching.

Guitar Center A heartfelt thank you to Guitar Center for helping make this moment possible. Your support means something real to Elliot and to the next generation of musicians JEXA is working to encourage, recognize, and uplift. ✨

Elliot, we’re excited to hear what you create with it. 🎶

🎷 Some afternoons don’t need a stage.
They just need the right musicians in the room.

On April 19, JEXA brings a live jazz trio into a space built on community and purpose, part of the Sip for Scholars gathering in Los Angeles.

🎹 Jermaine Carter
🎻 Romel Veal
🥁 Brylan Wright

Three musicians, one conversation.
No scripts, no second takes... just sound, instinct, and the kind of music that only exists in the moment it’s played.

From 1:30 to 4:30 PM, step into something unfiltered.
An afternoon where people meet, music moves, and something meaningful sits underneath it all.

🎷 Not every night lets you be part of the music…
Some nights, you help create it.

JEXA is looking for a small group of Event Ambassadors for our April 19 jazz experience in Los Angeles.

This isn’t just volunteering.
It’s being part of the energy, the people, and the moments that make live jazz unforgettable.

✨ You’ll be:
– Welcoming guests
– Helping shape the atmosphere
– Supporting an evening built around music, community, and purpose

If you love live music, meaningful spaces, and being around artists, you’ll feel at home here.

We’re keeping this group intentional.
If it feels like something you’d want to be part of, we’d love to hear from you.

Some artists perform.
Some artists stay with you long after the last note… 🎶

Yasmeena Sharif is the latter. ✨

There’s something deeper in her voice...
not just sound, but story… not just technique, but truth. 🎤

At JEXA, we don’t just spotlight talent.
We build space for artists who deserve to be experienced fully. 🌍

And with Yasmeena… we’re only getting started.

This isn’t just a feature.
This is the beginning of something bigger. 🚀

Stay with us. 👀🎷

February 6th. Downtown LA. The Wes Bozman Trio on stage. A room full of people who believe jazz is worth fighting for. 🎷🔥
That was JEXA Awards Night at Birds of a Feather Jazz Lounge ✨
Quinn Sims. George Paddack. Wesley Bozman. Three musicians who reminded everyone in that room why this music matters. 🎶
Every performance like this brings us closer to our mission.
Jazz is not a museum piece. It is alive, evolving, and worth every seat in the room. 🙌

🎷 SOLD OUT.
Not streamed. Not repeated.
Just felt.

Tonight, jazz didn’t ask for permission.
It filled the room.
It packed the house.
It made Los Angeles lean in and listen.

Jazz Night Live at Birds Of A Feather Jazz Lounge is officially SOLD OUT 🔥

That means every seat taken
Every table buzzing
Every note landing exactly where it’s meant to

This is what happens when legacy meets the future
When real musicians show up
And the city shows up for jazz 🎶✨

Proud. Grateful. Electric.
Tonight belongs to the music.
