True story: the very first Cullman Oktoberfest in 1982 tapped a root beer barrel.

Why? Because Cullman County was dry!

It may have been the only official Oktoberfest in the entire world held without a single drop of beer.

This year's festival features THREE biergardens, including one pouring beer from a brewery founded in 1040 AD, Weihenstephan.

We've come a long way!

Cullman was founded in 1873 by German immigrant Johann Cullmann - and over 150 years later, we're still celebrating that heritage every fall. 🇩🇪

Now in its 45th year, Cullman Oktoberfest has grown into one of North Alabama's largest and most beloved cultural events. It's more than a festival. It's a tradition.

Meet Dash!

3 years old, longhaired shaded cream, and an absolute menace (in the best way).

This little guy takes his job very seriously. That job? Getting every last squeaker out of every single toy. A true professional. 🧸

When he's not on squeaker duty, you'll find Dash sleeping on his back like a tiny king 👑, eating literally anything within reach (no notes, no complaints), and reminding his big brother Tucker Dood exactly who's in charge around here.

Spoiler: it's Dash. It has always been Dash. 😂🌭
