The Florida Manatee Festival is about more than just a fun weekend for our community. It is also an opportunity for local organizations to get involved, connect with attendees, and raise funds that support important work happening right here in Citrus County.

We are grateful for community partners like Citrus County Blessings, whose volunteers once again played an important role in helping the festival run smoothly this year. Their continued willingness to show up, pitch in, and be part of the event is a great example of how this festival becomes something bigger than itself.

We were honored to recently present Citrus County Blessings with a donation check representing the hard work of their volunteers. We are thankful for their partnership and for the many ways organizations like theirs help make the Florida Manatee Festival a true community effort.

When local events and local missions come together, the impact reaches far beyond the festival weekend.

What a weekend in the Manatee Capital of the World. 💙🎉

Last weekend, the 39th Annual Florida Manatee Festival was everything we love about this community rolled into one unforgettable celebration! From the first note of live music to the last funnel cake dusted in powdered sugar, downtown Crystal River was absolutely alive with energy, laughter, and good old fashioned festival fun.

Saturday came in hot and showed off exactly why this festival has been a cherished tradition for nearly four decades. Incredible live entertainment, amazing vendors, delicious food, smiling families, and that unbeatable waterfront backdrop made it one for the memory books. Sunday may have wrapped up a little early thanks to some classic Florida weather, but even then the spirit never skipped a beat. Rain or shine, this festival and this community know how to show up.

A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, Coast to Coast Heating & Air, for helping make the magic happen once again. To our sponsors, vendors, entertainers, volunteers, staff, city partners, and public safety teams, you all knocked it out of the park. This event simply does not happen without your time, talent, and heart.

And to everyone who came out to celebrate our gentle giants, shop local, sing along, dance, eat, laugh, and make memories with us thank you. This festival is about more than a weekend. It’s about tradition, community pride, and coming together in a place we are lucky to call home.

Crystal River, you did it again. 💙
We’ll see you next year for the big 40. 🎊

⭐Honoring Dr. King Today in Crystal River⭐

Join us this morning for Harmonies of Hope, a special tribute honoring the life, legacy, and enduring dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

We invite you to gather with us today from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Alexander Real Estate, Inc. Waterfront Main Stage for a moving program that celebrates unity, service, and the power of Dr. King’s message.

Mayor Joe Meek will conduct the opening ceremony, followed by a heartfelt invocation offered by Bishop Doug Alexander. The tribute will feature a stirring recitation of Dr. King’s iconic "I Have a Dream" speech by local scholar Taylor Jacobs, followed by reflections from community leaders and a beautiful musical tribute by acclaimed vocalist Bret Thom.

This heartfelt moment is one of the most meaningful parts of Manatee Festival weekend, and we would love for you and your family to be part of it.
