Weather
Our race will be held rain or shine.
While some years, the Mike Sterling Race is a hot, humid race, the cooler weather may give many of you a chance to PR.
Parking
Free parking is available along West Main Street and the many side streets off of West Main Street. Please do not park in any of the reserved parking spots either under the condominiums or at the Crisfield City dock. There is a public parking lot between 10th and 11th street, accessible from Broad Street.
Restrooms
Porta potties will be located at the City Dock. There are public restrooms at the Crisfield municipal parking lot located between 10th and 11th street.
Coffee/breakfast
Gordonβs Confectionary, 831 West Main Street, Crisfield, Maryland 21817 will be open early and serving coffee and breakfast.
The 10K Course
The 6.2 mile course has three water stops at approximately miles 1.5, 3 and 4.5. There will be water at all stops and Electrolyte Drink Mix at the second water stop. Make sure to go RIGHT at the 10K / 5K split at the bottom of Norris Harbor Road. We will have race officials there and at the intersection of Somerset and Asbury Avenue to direct you. Traffic enforcement will be at the intersection of Somerset Avenue and Maryland Avenue to control traffic to let you cross this highway.
The 5K Course
The 3.1 mile course mirrors the 10K run course but, at Norris Harbor Drive, comes back past the marina, onto 7th Street, and back onto Maryland Avenue. Traffic enforcement will be at the intersection of Seventh Street and Maryland Avenue to control traffic to let you cross onto Maryland Avenue.

Yes, volunteers from the Lower Somerset Ambulance Squad will be on site throughout the race.

Yes, please feel free to walk the 5k course.
How much weight must I carry for the 10k ruck?
