Before sunrise on May 25, Jupiter and Saturn will rise together above the horizon in a rare planetary pairing visible to the naked eye.

Brilliant Jupiter will shine brighter, while golden Saturn glows nearby with its famous rings tilted toward Earth creating one of the most beautiful dawn sky alignments of 2026.

The two gas giants may appear close together in the quiet morning sky, but they are separated by more than 700 million miles across the solar system.
