📣 Ear tagging and weigh ins are coming this next week!

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR LEADERS & EXHIBITORS

Please do not bring sick project animals to Pre-Fair Weigh-Ins. Sick animals need to be reported to the fair office.
If a sick animal is not reported to the office by letter, it will NOT be entered or weighed in at the fair.

📄 How to Report a Sick Animal:

Exhibitors must bring a written letter to the fair office containing:
-Exhibitor Info: Full name and organization details.
-Animal Details: Breed and s*x of the animal.
-Identification: Existing breeder tags, scrapie tag number, etc. Scrapie tag and eligible written tag numbers are required for ALL sheep and goats, at weigh-ins or not.
-Status: Statement explaining what is wrong with the animal.

🏷️ Tagging Procedures
No Tags on Sick Animals at Weigh-Ins: Tags will not be distributed at the scale for sick animals.

Office Pickup: An official tag will be assigned after the weigh-in weekend.

Tagger Checkout: Equipment can be checked out from the office at the time of tag pickup.

⚠️ Failure to submit a letter to the office results in disqualification from the fair

Look for signs. Please call Town and Country to Preregister. $75 per specie per family. Please message with any questions or call Town and Country.
