Stars and Stripes Livestock Show

Stars and Stripes Livestock Show Stars and Stripes is a Livestock show in New Jersey open to all youth! Welcome to the Page for Stars and Stripes Livestock Show!

We are not specifically a 4-H Show, however we encourage all 4-H, FFA, and other organizations to come attend and compete! Our livestock species include:

-Meat/Dairy Goats
-Beef/Dairy Cattle
-Sheep/Market Lamb
-Poultry/Waterfowl
-Rabbits/Cavies/Small Animals

These shows are open to any youth under the age of 21, and the open Sheep Show is open to exhibitors of all ages. Animals do not have to be

purebred. Premiums and prizes will be awarded. Educational exhibits will introduce the public to the foods and fibers produced on our farms and best management practices that enable us to produce some of the best livestock in the nation!! Some of the great reasons to attend our show:
-It's a great kickoff to the summer show season!
-We have a Round Robin, encouraging all exhibitors who win their species showmanship class to master showmanship of all the other livestock at the show
-Our Round Robin winner will be eligible to attend the New Jersey Agricultural Convention as a Stars and Stripes representative!

When Katie Allen began working with sheep, she saw how little value fleeces were bringing. 🐑

Now, the Wiltshire farmer has created her own knitwear brand to give her wool the traceability and return she believes it deserves. 🙌

Through the Great British Wool Revival, her fleeces are part of a wider push to reconnect farmers and fashion.

It is with great sadness that we morn the passing of our favorite cow judge, Don Kniffen. Although he had no biological children, hundreds of children called him mentor and friend. He was a part of Stars and Stripes since our inception and we will truly miss his expertise and dry wit, always ready to help those who shared his love of raising sheep. Services will be held at the Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon Monday 11:00 to 1:00 with the funeral to follow.
