"The magic of **Rhode Island Fashion Week Season 18** wasn't just in the garments, but in the community and diversity that walked the stage. 🌟

From behind-the-scenes visionaries leading the charge to the radiant smiles of our models, every frame tells a story of inclusion and creative passion. We saw Earth-toned artisanal knits that celebrated texture and heritage, alongside classic denim reimagined with youthful, effortless charm.

These ""Scene by Scene"" moments remind us that fashion is a universal language—one that empowers every individual to shine. Whether it’s the quiet intensity of a backstage walk or the bold confidence of a runway debut, RIFW continues to be a platform where artistry and identity collide. Here’s to the faces that made this season unforgettable!

"Confidence meets the concrete! 🏙️

The energy at Rhode Island Fashion Week hit a new high as Eddie (Spina) brought the hustle to the runway with his brand, REDTIE. This collection is a masterclass in urban sophistication, blending fresh streetwear silhouettes with a ""boss-driven"" aesthetic that demands attention.

From graphic tees that declare ""Bosses Move Different"" to sleek, statement track jackets, REDTIE is designed for those who navigate the world with intention and attitude. Spina’s vision perfectly captures the spirit of the modern trendsetter—empowering individuals to own their presence in every room they enter. It was a standout moment for Season 18 that truly defined ""everyday excellence.""

"Stitched to perfection! ✨

The runway transformed into a gallery of handcrafted artistry as **Sarah Akinbuwa** unveiled her latest collection for **Oyindas**. These aren't just garments; they are where crochet meets couture. From the architectural grace of the ivory mermaid gown to the vibrant, rhythmic energy of the rainbow sets, every piece celebrates the intersection of culture and confidence.

Sarah’s work explores the balance of strength and elegance, proving that every stitch is a powerful statement of individuality. These bold, textured silhouettes captivated the audience, leaving an indelible mark on Season 18. This is artisanal fashion at its most fearless.

Creativity took center stage as designer **Maria Briceno** shared a collection inspired by a lifetime of artistic exploration and self-expression. A graphic design graduate with a passion for painting, photography, textiles, crafts, and mixed-media artistry, Maria has always viewed creativity as a powerful way to connect with others and tell meaningful stories.

Art has been woven into her identity since childhood, influencing not only her work but also her unique perspective on fashion and design. Her Rhode Island Fashion Week presentation reflected that journey—blending color, texture, movement, and individuality into pieces that invited the audience to experience her vision firsthand.

Thank you, Maria, for sharing your artistry with our runway.

The runway came alive with the energy, precision, and passion of **Molly McBride**, a remarkable young performer whose talent captivated our audience from the very first step. A Providence native, Molly discovered Irish dance in preschool and is now entering her tenth year of training with The Kelly School of Irish Dance.

A two-time National Qualifier who recently competed at the All Ireland Irish Dance Championships in Killarney, Ireland, Molly has performed across the United States, Canada, and Ireland alongside internationally acclaimed artists from *Riverdance* and *Lord of the Dance*.

For Rhode Island Fashion Week, Molly brought her signature blend of traditional Irish dance and contemporary music to the runway with a spirited modern reel set to Lady Gaga’s *Just Dance*—earning enthusiastic applause from the crowd.

Before the runway came alive with fashion, creativity, and artistry, we were honored to welcome a very special guest to the stage—**Providence Mayor Brett Smiley**.

As Rhode Island Fashion Week continues to celebrate local talent, entrepreneurship, and the creative economy, it means so much to have the support of community leaders who recognize the impact that fashion, art, and culture have on our city. Mayor Smiley took a moment to greet our audience and share a few words before the show began, helping set the tone for an inspiring evening of design and innovation.

Thank you, Mayor Smiley, for joining us and for supporting the creative community that helps make Providence shine.
