Join us for the Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival each August!

Load up the family and spend the weekend enjoying balloon launches and much more, like live bands and various races and events with prizes!

Besides our Cardboard Regatta, there will plenty of other kid-friendly activities all day Saturday (Aug. 1st)!
As usual, we'll have bouncy houses and kite making! Reminder that children MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian for kite making!
This year we will also have a super-sized foam and bubbles area starting at 9:00am!

Among various races happening at the festival this year is Northwest Colorado Health's annual Rubber Duck race & fundraiser! They'll part of all the fun at Loudy-Simpson Park on Saturday, August 1st! The ducks will set off at 10:30am, so don't forget to buy yourselves some entrants before then!

Thank you so much to all our sponsors, vendors, and YOU, our wonderful community, for showing your early support for this year's Balloon Festival!

We'll have our usual lineup of live music, food and retail vendors, BINGO, cardboard regatta, car show, various other family-friendly activities, and, of course, hot air balloons!!

Weather permitting, the balloons will launch Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning (July 31st - Aug. 2nd)! All day Saturday we'll be at Loudy-Simpson Park with all of the above-mentioned activities and more! Visit our website for more details!
