Ladies and Gents, Shooters, it is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from the role of Match director.

Over the last 20 years I have had the opportunity to meet some great people and watch some amazing shooters grow and hone their skills achieving local and national titles. It has truly been a rewarding journey for me but I have been an MD for much longer than I ever anticipated and I am looking forward to relaxing and maybe even doing some shooting myself again. That said, I will continue to own and run A3GMunitions.com so those of you who get your ammo, suppressors and other toys from me can continue to do so.

I want to thank all those who were so instrumental in the success of Atlanta 3-Gun, Erik Kopp, Jeffrey Abraham, Dave Gaucher, Jody Marshall, Robert Strother, David Stephens, Joe Berger and Michael Berger. Without these folks, and particularly Dave Gaucher who has helped me set up every match giving up his one day off a week for literally years, the matches would not have been possible. I would also like to thank William Clay and his team at South River Gun Club for being incredibly supportive and accommodating over the years.

The good news is that I leave you in the very capable hands of Scott Hauswirth and Iron Ridge Shooting Sports. Scott will continue running USPSA and Steel Challenge matches and will be adding the very popular PCSL 2-Gun. For those who do not know him, Scott is the Section Coordinator for Georgia so he has his fingers on the pulse of USPSA today. Scott did a great job with RBGC Practical Shooters as the MD there and he regularly put on monthly matches that rivaled majors. With the flexibility and space SRGC provides I have no doubt that Scott will take USPSA beyond anything we have experienced to date.

I will miss the fellowship I shared with all of you every month and I wish all of you the very best. Thank you for your support.

Good morning! Scores have been updated. A couple shooters who moved squads were showing as DQed. If you have not Please check the scores before tomorrow morning as I will be posting them to USPSA tomorrow.

Good Evening! I hope all of you had a great Easter and thanks to those who spent some of it with us! The rain was light until Dave and I started tear down but we survived and the sun came out about the time we were done. Scores are posted, please check them and let me know if there are issue. Please also make sure your USPSA number is in the scores if you have one as I will be uploading these to USPSA on Tuesday.

Rememeber, No match in May. Stay tuned for more details on June.

Thanks to those who came out today! Weather was perfect. Remember this is a two day match (competitors shoot either day or both) so scores will not be posted until tomorrow evening.

Some of the stages for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday squads are full but plenty of spots on Sunday. Come join us for the ultimate in Easter Egg Hunts and bring those pastel colored pew pews.

Ladies and Gents, thank you for coming out today! And thank you for helping us tear down the stages! Scores were posted as I left the range so please check them over. They will be posted to USPSA tomorrow.

Remember April is a Saturday and Sunday match, same match and stages both days and you can shoot either day or both days in different divisions. There are 12 squads in PractiScore, 1-6 for Saturday and 7-12 for Sunday. Squads are limited to an absolute max of 13 so we should be done early each day.

Also, I have one Race Gun Nationals slot for our club. I am offering it up to staff first, then our regulars so if anyone is interested please reach out to me asap otherwise I will make it available to non-regulars. This is only a slot reservation so you dont have to play the registration game, you still have to pay the match fee.

Good evening Ladies and Gents! Here is stage 7 for Sunday. And I have opened a couple spots on all squads. Registration closes at 4pm tomorrow. Those not squadded when it closes will be squadded by me based on space available. See you Sunday by 8:45am. Please remember that SRGC is serious about enforcing the 10MPH speed limit inside the club so please just ease down the road once inside the club. Have a fantastic Saturday!

Ladies and Gents, I have had a request to increase the round count for Sunday's USPSA event so I will be adding targets to some stages and maybe adding a 7th stage. We will see but in either case the match book will not be updated so it willbe a surprise.
