From the Y Archives - 2025: It all began with a simple nod and wave. Stephanie and Patty kept showing up to the same Zumba class, and before long, they started to recognize each other. Over time, those small hellos turned into conversations about their shared interests. What started as two familiar faces in class grew into a real friendship.

From the Y Archives - 2013: Bob first learned to swim at the Everett Y, and he kept coming back 80 years later, swimming laps and walking the treadmill every day. For Bob, the Y was more than a workout. It was a place full of memories, friendly faces, and a community he called “a pillar” for as long as he could remember.

What a night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 3rd Annual Future Leaders Bash as we celebrated 125 years of the Y serving our community.

Together, 600 guests raised more than $338,000 for teen leadership programs across Snohomish and Island counties.

These programs give every middle and high school youth the chance to build confidence, develop agency, explore skills and career pathways, learn healthy habits, and make new friends, all in a supportive space with caring adult role models. Generous donations will fund subsidized YMCA teen programs and provide direct financial assistance for fee-based opportunities, so cost is never a barrier for teens.

For 125 years, the Y has invested in the people who make our communities strong. Thank you for helping us continue that commitment and invest in the next generation of leaders.
