Calling all artists! Don't forget — tomorrow is the LAST day to enter our art contest! The contest officially ends at 11:59 PM tomorrow, so make sure to submit your artwork before the deadline.

Remember, there are multiple winners, including a Grand Prize winner who will get their choice of either an artist alley booth or 2 VIP tickets to the convention. The Grand Prize winner's artwork will also be showcased in our program booklet!

Our 2026 theme is Festival of Spirits, celebrating the world of spirits, demons, and yokai as we return to our roots. Just like last year, we’re inviting you — our attendees — to help kick things off by creating a 3–7 minute video inspired by this year’s theme. Your video’s style and content are entirely up to you. To spark ideas, we’ve included reference videos on the Night Parade of 100 Demons and the Kaikai Yokai Festival on the form.

Don't forget to save the date for our Annual BBQ!

This year, our BBQ will be held at Lake Zorinsky Shelter 1 on August 15th! People are able to start showing up around 11 am, and food will be provided around noon. No need to bring anything but yourself and a few friends!

Attention all car enthusiasts! We are proud to announce that pre-registration for our 4th Annual Anime NebrasKon Car Show is now open!

This year the show will be held on Saturday, October 17 starting at 8 AM and ending around 2 PM. Each entry will receive a swag bag and a day pass that will allow them access into the convention center. Pre-registration is $20. You will still be able to register the day of the event, but the price goes up to $25. There will be five different categories for judging as well as some other door prizes. Is there a special interest or topic that you just love sharing with others? Or maybe you have the urge to test others' knowledge through a trivia game or host a demonstration on how to do a hobby you think others would enjoy? Our panel submissions are still open for you to share all of this with everyone who attends Anime NebrasKon!

We have hosts of a wide variety of panels every year and are always looking to change things up. A committee votes on final panel selection, and everything is weighed heavily with each submission.
