Threat of rain did not keep the royals from having a good time at the Poteet Strawberry Festival on Saturday.

La Salle County Wild Hog Cook off County Fair Parade 2026 was a complete success!!

Thank you to all of the volunteers and participants. Thank you to our Flag bearers, Parade Judges, Parade Announcers, and First Baptist Church of Cotulla. Thankful to all who participated and many congratulations to our Commercial Grand Champion: Madison Pointe Apartments; Commercial Reserve Champion: La Salle Western Wear/Linda Morena; Non Commercial Grand Champion Freer Rattlesnake Royalty; and Non Commercial Reserve Champion La Salle County Fair Association Queen & Court floats.

We’d also like to give a special thank you to Pct 1 Comm Noel Niavez and Twister Valenzuela for filling in and carrying our Nation’s and State colors at the last minute!
