Celebrating 20 years — and a beautiful final chapter.

This fall, we delivered our remaining funds to four incredible nonprofits who share our love for the Flint Hills:
🌾Flint Hills Discovery Center Foundation
🌾Pioneer Bluffs
🌾Tallgrass Legacy Alliance, Inc.
🌾Volland, A Place for Art and Community

These gifts were made possible through a careful and thoughtful process of selling our building and remaining assets — not from operational surplus. We wanted every final dollar to stay in the Flint Hills, supporting the places and people doing meaningful work.

We’re also grateful to the organizations preserving our history so it can continue to inspire:
📚 Chapman Center for Rural Studies at Kansas State University — safeguarding our archives and preserving our website
📚 Kansas State Historical Society — stewarding additional historical documents and materials

As we close our chapter, we invite you to keep the spirit of the Flint Hills alive by supporting these organizations. They’re continuing the work with the same heart and dedication that guided our mission.

📸 A special moment of thanks and giving back.

As Symphony in the Flint Hills concludes its operations, our Board of Directors has donated our nearly new warehouse to USD 284 Chase County Schools.

This gift is a way to say thank you to the community for the incredible support over the years—and to ensure the building continues to serve a meaningful purpose.

We are deeply grateful to our dedicated staff, who poured their hearts into making each Symphony in the Flint Hills season a success, and we’re proud to see this building benefit local students into the future.
