PARADE ROUTE/ROAD CLOSURES/DETOUR
There are some minor changes to this year's Cottage Grove Firemen's Festival Parade on Saturday, June 13th

The parade will begin at NOON from the intersection of Main St and Weald Bridge/Taylor St and travel south to E. Reynolds where it will loop around and end near 1855. (see map)

Main St will be CLOSED to traffic between Cottage Grove Rd & Weald Bridge/Taylor St starting at 11:00am. This area will be used for parade floats to line up.

The rest of Main St will be CLOSED to Coffeytown Rd at 11:30am.

Use Vilas Rd as a detour during this time.

2 weeks from today, Sunday, June 14th, some lucky kid will be going home with this pedal tractor!!🚜

Kids 9 and under can sign up for our Kids Tractor Pull at 4pm behind home plate.

1st, 2nd, & 3rd place trophies awarded in 4 age groups (under 3, 4-5, 6-7, & 8-9), ribbons for everyone!

A name will be drawn from all participants to win and take home this pedal tractor!

We are less than 2 months out from the 95th Annual Cottage Grove Firemen’s Festival!

***Note the date change to June 11th-14th...one week earlier than our traditional Father’s Day weekend. Our previous carnival's owner retired and we had to make this small adjustment to accommodate the schedule of our new carnival.

All your favorite events and activities are still happening! Parade, Hot2Trot, carnival rides & games, baseball, co****le tournament, 2 beer tents with FREE live music each night, car show, and all the tasty foods you can eat!

2026 CHANGE OF DATES ANNOUNCEMENT
We are excited to announce a change in dates for the Cottage Grove Firemen’s Festival next year. The Festival will be moved up one week from our traditional Father’s Day weekend. Dates for 2026 are Thursday, June 11th through Sunday, June 14th.

The reason behind this change is the retirement of David and Kim, owners of our previous carnival, Sheridan Amusements. They have been wonderful to work with and we wish them the best as they now have time to travel and spend time with their grandchildren.

In our search for a new carnival, we have chosen Rainbow Valley Rides. You may recognize them from Sun Prairie’s Cornfest. Although they are already booked for Father’s Day weekend, we are fortunate they had the previous weekend available.

We are excited for the move off Father’s Day and expect a larger turnout as many families plan other special activities to celebrate their dads.

All our other Festival events will remain! Free live music, parade, car show, Hot2Trot, games, rides, food and fun! We hope this change will allow you and your family more time to enjoy all we have to offer.

Our Festival is first and foremost the largest fundraiser of the year for the Cottage Grove Volunteer Fire Department. The funds from this year’s festival, along with grant funds from Ascendium allowed us to purchase a Firevent training prop without any tax dollars. The prop has been ordered and we expect delivery next spring.

We sincerely appreciate all the support from the community and local businesses who have made purchases like these possible over the years.
