Thank you to the 468 runners who joined us for the 2026 Hot2Trot: 1/2 Marathon, 5K, Kids Run!

Packet Pick-Up – New Time and Location This Year!

Packet pick-up will be Friday from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Bakken Park Shelter (4064 Vilas Rd, Cottage Grove).

Can't make it Friday? No problem! You can pick up your packet on race morning starting at 6:00 AM under the white tent on the fair grounds.

🏃 Registration is online only and remains open right up until your race starts!

While tonight’s Cottage Grove Firemen's Festival activities have been canceled due to the stormy weather, the good news is that the 15th Annual Hot2Trot Run is still ready to rock on Saturday morning! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🔥

Our volunteers have been hard at work preparing the course (please mile markers, don't wash away), and we can’t wait to welcome runners from across the region for a great morning of racing and community fun.

Not registered yet? There’s still time! Online and race-day registration will remain open right up until the start of each event.

Know Your Route! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
Safety is our top priority. Please remember that roads remain open to traffic, so stay alert and be aware of vehicles throughout the course.

**This year runners will go down Bonnie to Weald Bridge due to construction!

A big thank you to our volunteers and public safety partners who make this event possible. If you see a volunteer, race marshal, bike lead, or police officer along the route, give them a wave and a thank you—they're out there to help keep everyone safe and ensure a great race day for all! 🚒
