Dear Brothers in Christ, I believe in you. There’s a generational ripple effect that happens when we say yes or no to God. I want nothing less than to see you become the spiritual leader and witness that you’re called to be; no matter what vocation or stage of life you’re in. Which is why I’m working hard to organize Triumph!

Jesus knows the depths of your miseries and struggles. He knows your darkest sins. And yet, He still draws near to you.

Why? Because you are His and He loves you with an undying love. Stop running and hiding. Stop giving into the lie that there’s no possible good that can come out of your trial. Stop saying it’s too late to turn back to God because of all your mistakes. It’s impossible to silence your conscience and I know you hear the knocking on the door. If you’ve been looking for a sign, this is it. The Lord put it on my heart to post this picture of Him. Come now, don’t delay.

Divine Mercy is present everywhere. You just have to have the eyes to see and ears to hear. But it’s too easy to drive right past it and miss the grace being offered. So often we start the day hitting the floor running and as a result we live in a frenetic state, unaware of God’s presence. We also lack interior peace, joy, and strength to resist sin and do God’s will. Prayer, meditation, and intentional moments throughout the day even to briefly connect with the Lord is so crucial. Don’t forget to waste time with God today.

When I see these four faces, I want to say something nerdy like, “Avengers, assemble”. These are some heavy hitters in Heaven who I turn to regularly for inspiration and prayers: St. John Paul, St. Thérèse, Bl. Pier Giorgio, & Bl. Miguel Pro.
I sat next to a Protestant minister’s wife on a flight this past year, and we somehow got to talking about the Catholic faith and canonized Saints. She expressed the concern that focusing on the Saints would distract her from loving God. The Holy Spirit put it on my heart to share with her that when I think of the Saints, it makes me love God more, because of what He was able to accomplish in and through their lives. “The mighty one has done great things for me and holy is his name.” Luke 1:49
I also assured her that when I ask for the prayers of the Saints, I’m simply doing what she does when she asks an elder in her church, who she knows is close to God, to bring my petitions to the Lord. We serve the God of the living and not the dead, so I doubt these brothers and sisters in Faith are just lounging around in Heaven without a concern in the world for us who are still trying daily to fight the good fight. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us.” Heb 12:1

I want to take a moment to honor and congratulate my friend Vincent L. Rennie and his wife Sarah who just welcomed their third child, Roslyn, into this world a week ago!

Vincent is the creative force behind the design, website, video, and logo for the Triumph Conference. While juggling family life and a full time job, he still offered to help with the conference because he believed in this mission to encourage and challenge young adult men in the Church. He took the initiative and due largely in part because of his efforts, we have over 210 men who have responded to the invitation to come and see what the LORD has in store for them this Saturday! I’m grateful and encouraged by the example of good Catholic men like Vincent, who inspire me to man up in Christ daily. Thank you brother!

One of the great ironies I see in the Church is that whereas seminarians receive up to 8 years of formation to prepare for the most important vocation in their lives... Engaged couples get a handful of meetings with their parish priest, a lackluster weekend retreat, and then off they go into marriage, “well-equipped” for all of its demands and challenges.
One of the goals I had in mind when I helped to create the Triumph Conference, was to awaken in young adult men (whether single or already married) the courage and motivation they need to better themselves with the grace that comes from Christ, with an event that will provide ongoing formation. If this event will help save even one future marriage, then all the effort will be well worth it. St. Irenaeus said “The glory of God is man fully alive.” Brothers, so much of our present and future is hinging upon us answering the call to become fully alive.
The conference is less than 2 weeks away. We have 165 men signed up. Answer the call, let’s do this!! Tag a brother in Christ who you want to invite.

We’ve been working hard to create a truly game changing day for the Lord to work powerfully in the lives of young adult men, and they have responded to the invitation! As of right now we have 150 men who are committed to attending the first ever Triumph Conference!
TODAY is the last day to take advantage of early bird 🎫’s. If you’re on the fence, let’s gooo! If you’re already attending, invite another friend. If you can’t attend, gift one for someone who’d truly benefit from a day like this. We’re stoked. We’re praying for you. We can’t wait to see what God has in store.
