The Coshocton County Fair has been in existence since 1851, bringing competition and enjoyment to the residents of Coshocton and surrounding communities. Since the Coshocton County Fair is one of the last in the state, the agricultural products on display are among the best in Ohio. Elaborate displays of pumpkins, corn, potatoes and apples fill the agricultural hall, while the livestock barns are

filled with the pride of the county's 4-H and FFA members. But of course no fair would be complete without the thrill of the midway, and Coshocton County Fair is no exception. The Coshocton County Fair is sponsored by the Coshocton County Agricultural Society. The Agricultural Society is directed by a board of 18 members

🌟 Jr. Fair Board Spotlight: Makayla 🌟

This week, we're proud to spotlight Jr. Fair Board member Makayla!

This is Makayla's first year serving on the Coshocton County Jr. Fair Board, and she is excited to learn new things and make a positive impact. She is a member of the Chili Challengers 4-H Club and is actively involved in her school's FFA chapter.

Outside of fair activities, Makayla enjoys playing volleyball and softball and loves spending time working on her family's farm. She is also a member of her church's worship team and helps with the children's ministry program.

When she has free time, you'll often find her fishing, boating, or enjoying the outdoors. Makayla is known for her strong work ethic and her ability to face challenges head-on with determination and a positive attitude.

We are so proud of Makayla and all she has already accomplished. We look forward to watching her grow as a leader on the Jr. Fair Board and continue helping build a better tomorrow for our fair and community.

Please join us in congratulating and encouraging Makayla as she makes her mark in our community!

🌟 Contributor Spotlight: Dustin & Amanda Klein 🌟

The Coshocton County Fair would like to give a huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Dustin and Amanda Klein of Hathaway Inc.!

Dustin and Amanda purchased Hathaway Inc. in January 2024 from Chuck and Paula Hathaway, making a longtime dream come true. After Dustin had the opportunity to work for Hathaway Inc., he and Amanda were blessed with the chance to purchase and grow a business together. They are incredibly grateful to the Hathaway family for entrusting them with their second-generation family-owned business and helping make their dream a reality.

Dustin is a member of our Junior Fair Auction Committee, and he and Amanda are also major buyers at the Junior Fair Sale. Beyond that, they are always among the first to step up when construction or improvements are needed around the fairgrounds.

Most recently, Dustin and Amanda played a major role in the renovation of the New Rotary Pavilion, helping create a beautiful and useful space for our fair and community.

Please join us in thanking Dustin and Amanda Klein for their generosity, hard work, and continued support of the Coshocton County Fair. We are so grateful for major contributors like them who help keep our fair growing strong! 🎑❀️

🌟 Fair Board Spotlight: Steve Aronhalt 🌟

Today we're proud to spotlight Fair Board Director Steve Aronhalt, a dedicated volunteer whose passion for the Coshocton County Fair spans more than 50 years.

Over the past three years, Steve has been a driving force behind many improvements at the fairgrounds. From supporting barn upgrades and grounds improvements to serving as Speed Superintendent for the harness racing program, Steve works year round to help make our fair better for exhibitors, spectators, and the entire community. In 2025, he secured a Capital Improvement Grant through the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association (OHHA) to improve track fencing and enhance safety for horses, drivers, and fairgoers.

Many of you also know Steve as the person who helped bring the popular Wiener Dog Races to the Coshocton County Fair! What started as a fun new attraction continues to grow, and exciting additions are planned as we celebrate the 175th Coshocton County Fair in 2026.

Steve serves on several committees including concessions, the Beer Garden, Art Hall, and advertising efforts. Through partnerships with local businesses and generous donors, he has helped support facility improvements, safety projects, and enhancements across the fairgrounds.

When he's not volunteering at the fair, Steve works as a Maintenance Mechanic for Wiley Company and enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. Known for his friendly personality, good humor, and willingness to lend an ear, Steve truly embodies the spirit of community service.

Steve's love for the fair began as a child helping his grandparents with the Keene and Bethlehem Granges. Those early experiences taught him the value of tradition, community pride, and bringing generations together. Today, he continues that mission by helping build opportunities for our youth and supporting the next generation of fair exhibitors and leaders.

Thank you, Steve, for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to preserving the heritage and future of the Coshocton County Fair! 🎑❀️

πŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎβ€οΈ Happy Father's Day from the Coshocton County Fair! β€οΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎ

Today, we celebrate all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who make a difference in the lives of our youth and our community. From early mornings in the barn and helping with projects, to cheering from the stands and sharing generations of fair traditions, your support helps make the fair experience special.

Thank you for the lessons, the encouragement, and the countless memories made along the way.

We wish all the fathers and father figures a wonderful Father's Day filled with family, laughter, and appreciation.

🎑 Happy Father's Day from all of us at the Coshocton County Fair as we celebrate 175 years of fair traditions and America's 250th Anniversary! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Carrie Hamlett 🌟

The Coshocton County Fair and 4-H community are fortunate to have dedicated volunteers like Carrie Hamlett!

Carrie serves as the Species Representative to the 4-H Committee for Junior Fair Swine and is the Junior Fair Swine Show Advisor. Over the years, she has also been a 4-H advisor with both the Winner 4-H Club and the Go-Getters 4-H Club, helping guide and mentor countless youth.

Her commitment extends beyond our county as she volunteers each year at the Ohio State Fair Skillathon as a facilitator and assists with the General Livestock Judging Contest during the Coshocton County Fair.

When she's not volunteering, Carrie stays busy as an Interventional Radiology Nurse, wife, and mom. Through her dedication, leadership, and willingness to give her time, she has made a lasting impact on the lives of many young exhibitors and families.

Thank you, Carrie, for everything you do for the Coshocton County Fair, 4-H, and Junior Fair programs. Your hard work and passion help make our community stronger every day! β€οΈπŸ–πŸ€
