Ohio’s Oldest Hot Air Balloon Festival

Joy, wonder, admiration, fascination, courage. These are just a few words we think of when the hot air balloons fill the skies of Coshocton County every June. Over 25 balloons launch each year for three days during the summer. We are proud in Coshocton to have Ohio’s oldest Hot Air Balloon Festival. Seeing the smiling faces of children and adults alike as a balloon takes off is worth bringing family and friends to see every year. Balloon launch is hugely dependent on weather conditions, and the safety of our brave balloon pilots and citizens always come first. The balloon festival is a three day event for this very reason! It gives us the opportunity to launch as many times as the weather allows! During the three day event, there is also live music, games, fair food, kiddie rides, tethered balloon rides, “Touch a Truck,” a Night Glow, fireworks, and much more. We hope to see you this year June 4 - 6, 2020! Parking and admission are free thanks to the generous support of local business, including major sponsor Frontier Power.
