Pinktoberfest Corvallis

Pinktoberfest Corvallis Pink-toberfest is a day of fun and raising awareness about breast cancer. It includes the second annual Paint-Me-Pink 5k fun Run/Walk & Paws for a Cause.

Pink-toberfest includes a colorful 5k fun run/walk celebrating survivors and honoring those who've lost the battle against breast cancer. Festivities starting at the Lions Shelter in Avery Park on Saturday, 10/10/15 at 9:00 am. Also, Pink Paws for the Cause Community Dog Walk from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Breast cancer affects whole families even our fur friends. Proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Samaritan Cancer Foundation.

Today would have been my sister Suzy's 72nd birthday. Thank you to the millions around the world who have joined us at Susan G. Komen to honor our promise to end breast cancer forever. ❤️❤️❤️

We're still fundraising until October 31st for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure You can find our local PINK POSITIVE TEAM at Komenoregon.org My mom Sue is thriving as an 18 year survivor because her breast cancer was detected early Please schedule your mammogram and get screened! Thanks to all of you who generously sponsored, donated, participated and volunteered at our 2nd Annual Paint Me Pink 5k and 3rd Annual Pink Paws for the Cause Community Dog Walk. We hope to grow PINKTOBERFEST at Avery Park a little every year! 2016 we'll support both Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Project H.E.R

Whether or not mammography is effective at detecting breast cancer early, these findings demonstrate the current benefit of early detection.
