On May 31, 2013 at 7:00 pm Under the lights at the CHS Football Field we will honor our fallen brother Shane Cantu with an alumni flag football game to raise money for the Shane Cantu Memorial Scholarship Fund The Shane Cantu Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide scholarships for students for both Corunna and Owosso high school seniors who would like to pursue a career in law enforcement.

ost is $30.00 per player which includes a personalized t-shirt and number on back
* All monies are due the first week of May. I can not accept any money before that as to the rules of the Campaign for Shane.
*message Mike Sullivan with your intentions to play or volunteer at the event along with the number you would like on the back of your shirt, the name you want on your shirt, and the size of the shirt. (There will be a few practices and they are not mandatory)

Davison Community Schools will be providing free “grab and go” breakfast and lunch meals for all students during the state-ordered shutdown.

Look for the Davison School Bus parked n the following locations from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, March 16-March 27:

Central Elementary
Davison Free Methodist Church
Continental Estates
Davison Farmer’s Market
Broadview Estates
Davison Meadows Baptist Church (pending approval of church)
Kearsley Creek
Siple Elementary
Gates Elementary
Davison East
Charter Oaks

*Those with special diet needs will need to pick up their lunches at Central Elementary.

*Friday pickups will consist of three meals to help provide meals throughout the weekends.

*Open to all students under age of 18 (special education students up to age 26)

I will be starting to send out messages for the third annual 2015 Corunna vs. Owosso alumni game. As you may know, this is a huge undertaking. I know all of you would do anything to support the Shane Cantu Memorial. I wish I had more news on the memorial but we believe the memorial will be approved this Spring. I Just wanted to let all of you know that I am beginning the process. I will update more including a date in the very near future. If you can help in any way please let me know. Spread the word and all interested please send me friend request to make it easier to contact you.

Thank you to all who came out Friday night to support your loved ones and a great cause. I loved seeing all of you guys. I miss those days if being on the sideline with you. I know Shane would have been there playing his heart out if it were for one of his battle brothers from Corunna, Owosso, or the Army. It was a great success because of all that came out, those that volunteered, and those who participated. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone and hope to see you again next year. WE WILL NEVER FORGET #6.

Game Day is finally here . Tonight it's all about Shane (and some good crosstown rivalry football). Players and volunteers try to get to the stadium around 6pm tonight. Game starts at 7pm. Please invite everyone you can. Let's fill the stands for our hero!
