Mini Devotional: Pray for Your Sisters
One thing about women is that we carry so much quietly. We smile while hurting, encourage others while feeling empty, and continue showing up even when life feels heavy. Not every battle is spoken out loud. Some women are fighting silent battles—fear, exhaustion, grief, financial struggles, loneliness, anxiety, heartbreak, or simply trying to hold everything together.
That’s why our friendships matter so deeply. God did not create us to walk through life alone. He created sisterhood so we could strengthen, encourage, and pray for one another. Sometimes the greatest thing you can do for a friend is not give advice, but simply cover her in prayer.
You may never fully know what someone is carrying behind their smile, but God does. A simple text, a kind word, or a whispered prayer can become the very thing that reminds someone they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.
Prayer:
Lord, help us to be women who love deeply, encourage sincerely, and pray faithfully for one another. Give us discernment to notice when someone may be struggling, even when they don’t say a word. Teach us to be safe places for our sisters and to carry one another in prayer. Let our friendships reflect Your love, compassion, and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
