It’s been a busy few days for Soundwaves 2025, and we aren’t done yet!

Congratulations to our ensembles for their spectacular performances on Monday evening, as well as our faculty performers at last night’s K Space concert, which featured the fabulous works of !

We’ve also had a whirlwind of educational events, including a lecture & composition workshop with Gala, as well as an elementary school outreach with .

Our final event is Contemporary Currents, a melange of music by current composers performed by our world-class TAMUCC faculty. Join us tomorrow, 10/2 in the H-E-B Performance Hall at the TAMUCC PAC!

What a magical evening! ✨ Last night’s house concert was lovely - huge thanks to pianist Kevin Koehler and family for hosting our SoundWaves benefit concert! All three members of the SoundWaves committee performed and even gave a preview of our 2025 guest composer Gala Flagello’s work.
