🔥 FINAL WORKOUT REVEAL: "PALOMA"🔥
This is it, athletes! The final test of the La Playa Throwdown is here, and it’s a TWO-SCORED event that will push you to your limits!
For Time⏱️
3 rounds of:
- 10 Deadlifts (315/205 #)
- 12 Bar-Facing Burpees
Rest 1 minute
Then, 3 rounds of:
- 8 Cleans (165/115 #)
- 16 Kipping Handstand Push-Ups (HSPU)
Time Cap: 15 minutes
Workout Flow:
Upon the call of "3, 2, 1… Go!" athletes will kick off with 3 rounds of heavy deadlifts followed by bar-facing burpees. After completing the first 3 rounds, there will be a 1-minute mandatory rest. Then, athletes will move into 3 rounds of cleans and kipping handstand push-ups. The goal is to complete all movements within the 15-minute time cap. In classic chipper style, all work must be done before moving to the next movement.
Scoring:
This event is two scored:
1. The time it takes to finish the first 3 rounds (Deadlifts and Burpees).
2. The time it takes to finish the second 3 rounds (Cleans and HSPUs).
Time Cap Rule:
If you hit the time cap, 1 second will be added for every rep not completed.
Tiebreaker:
In the event of a tie, the athlete who finishes the first couplet (deadlifts and burpees) faster will win the tiebreaker.
This workout will test your power, stamina, and grit. With two scores on the line and a 15-minute time cap, it’s time to bring everything you’ve got!
