❤️ San Diego Athletes — One of Our Own Needs Us Right Now

Many of you know Ric from triathlons, running events, and races throughout San Diego. Ric is also the incredible medical nurse at KOZ Events who has taken care of so many of you in the finish-line medical tent when you needed help.
Now Ric and Julian need us to take care of them.
Julian is still fighting cancer, but things have become much more difficult. He suffered a stroke two weeks ago, is back in the hospital, and his tumor is growing again.
Julian now needs significant assistance just to use the stairs. Because of that, Ric and Julian will have to move to a home that Julian can safely access before he can come home from the hospital.
And through all of this, Ric is working THREE jobs just trying to keep them afloat.
Three jobs — while worrying about Julian, spending time at the hospital, helping care for him, managing their everyday expenses, and now facing the added cost and stress of having to move.
No one should have to carry all of that alone.
Ric has spent years taking care of athletes in our community. If you've ever crossed one of our finish lines and seen Ric there ready to help, this is our opportunity to show her that this community is there for her, too.
