Governor's Cup - Balboa Yacht Club The 59th Annual Governor's Cup Challenge will be held from Monday, July 27 through Saturday, August 1, 2026.

The Governor’s Cup Selection Committee will select twelve skippers from sailors who will not have reached their 23rd birthday by July 30, 2022 and who submit a Request for Invitation (“RFI”) by Friday, April 8, 2022. Decisions of the Selection Committee will be announced no later than Friday, April 22, 2022. Crews will consist of three or four sailors whose combined weight cannot exceed 262.5 kg/5

Request for invitation for the 55th Annual Governor's Cup Internationals Junior Match Racing Championship will be posted at www.govcupracing.com or by emailing a request to [email protected] closer to the 2022 event date. The Gov Cup is part of a clear pathway from an introductory clinic to regional regattas, national and international youth events called the Rose Cup, then Governor’s Cup, the intercollegiate match racing program culminating in the ICSA National Match Racing Championship.
