Cornwall-on-Hudson RiverFest

Cornwall-on-Hudson RiverFest RiverFest began in 1998 in conjunction with the Bannerman Castle Weekend. Another full day of entertainment is planned.

In that first year, Emmy Award winning lighting designer and Cornwall resident Deke Hazirjian illuminated Bannerman Castle on both Friday and Saturday evening. Although the weather didn't cooperate, everyone had a great time, and the tradition of RiverFest began.

2017 will be the 20th RiverFest, on June 3. Some favorites from previous years are returning, as well as some newcomers. For everyone,

we have a great line-up of bands that will perform from noon until 6:00 PM. Grab a blanket or lawn chair and join us at Donahue Park!

“Riverfest has become a quintessentially Cornwall-on-Hudson event, a celebration of our beautiful waterfront, since its creative inception in 1998 – the brainchild of then-Village Deputy Mayor Tony Ferraro and his wife Kathy, and our current Town Deputy Supervisor Wynn Gold. It has been held every year since with the exception of a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions. As with most everything that enjoys success in our community, the lion’s share of the credit goes to the intrepid team of volunteers who host some 3,000 – 5,000 of their “closest friends” the first Sunday of every June. Don’t miss our local attractions, delicious summertime culinary delights, vendor crafts, and joyous celebration with friends, neighbors, and visitors of our little “slice of Heaven” at Donahue Memorial Park.” ~ Mayor James A. Vendor applications are still being accepted for Cornwall-on-Hudson RiverFest 24. This will be out 25th year.

Vendor applications can be downloaded from our website, www.river-fest.com. We are looking for a few additional food vendors, especially a pizza vendor.
