COSPLAY GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT

Please welcome Taylor Patton (Taylored Cosplay) to this year’s Comic Con!

Taylor is an award-winning cosplayer and mechanical engineer whose work pushes cosplay beyond traditional costume design. Cosplaying since 2012, she specializes in mechanical articulation and wearable mechatronics, combining sewing, foam fabrication, materials science, and engineering to create costumes that move as impressively as they look.

She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Materials Science specialization) and has built an impressive competition record, including awards such as Best Overall at Tupelo Con 2020, Best Master at MidSouth Con 2025, and recognition at major cosplay events including Dragon Con’s Masquerade.

Taylor has also served as a cosplay judge and featured guest at multiple conventions, bringing both technical expertise and creative insight to the community.

Please welcome Fanelia Cosplay (Brianna) to this year’s Comic Con!

An award-winning cosplayer from North Mississippi, Brianna specializes in cute, sparkly, and highly detailed costumes, bringing a love of embroidery, sequins, and all things adorable to every build she creates.

She’s been cosplaying since 2016 and works year-round as a seamstress for costumes and special occasion garments, blending professional skill with pure creative passion. When she’s not crafting or cosplaying, she’s often sharing her work and process on her blog: faneliacosplay.wordpress where she documents detailed construction notes and behind-the-scenes builds.

Feather Hammer is passionate about sharing his knowledge and helping cosplayers of all ages and skill levels grow in the hobby.

We’re excited to introduce our first cosplay guest and Cosplay Contest Host Kerri Bland!

Kerri is a local cosplayer with 10+ years of competitive experience, with features and appearances including Cartoon Network, Cosplay Realm Magazine, Cosplay Glade Magazine, and collaborations with Epic Cosplay Wigs.

She began her cosplay journey at just 12 years old and has since competed across the U.S., specializing in fabric builds with a strong passion for video game inspired costumes.

Kerri is also dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment, encouraging people of all abilities to explore creativity and cosplay.

Please welcome Lee Turner of After Hours Cinema to this year’s Comic Con!

After Hours Cinema is a nationally syndicated late-night horror host show airing on stations across the country, celebrating classic horror, indie films, and the community behind them.

Hosted by South Mississippi’s own Lee Turner, a self-described “horror historian,” he brings deep knowledge, trivia, and a true passion for B-movies channeling the spirit of classic hosts like Creature Features’ Bob Wilkins.

Beyond the show, Lee is also an active indie horror actor, appearing in films like Arachnado, The Beast Beneath, and Enterfear, and collaborating with creators across the horror scene.
