Cabin Fever Days 48th Annual Barstool Ski Races & Winter Festival Fundraiser
February 13th, 2027 The Barstool Ski Races are right on Central Avenue in Martin City.

Cabin Fever Days Events take place in Martin City, Hungry Horse, and Coram, Montana. The street is closed to traffic and covered with snow. The raceway is lined with hay bales to keep the crowds at bay. Many additional activities such a music, competitions and more occur at the several taverns in Bad Rock Canyon – Stonefly Lounge, Packers Roost, Southfork Saloon, Deerlick Saloon, Dew Drop Inn and Paul Bunyans.

🚒 Three million visitors pass through Badrock Canyon every summer — and when something goes wrong, it's local volunteers who show up first.

The Coram-West Glacier, Martin City and Hungry Horse volunteer fire departments have joined forces to expand their medical response capabilities, pooling 12 new EMT-trained volunteers for the Canyon QRU.

We have been nominated in a few categories for Best of Columbia Falls to Essex!

Vote for us for Best Columbia Falls Event and Best Non-profit.
Since we aren't TECHNICALLY in Columbia Falls we are also super happy to ask for best non-profit. Winning helps spread the word that we are so much more than just a winter festival, we are a non-profit raising money for the volunteer firefighters of Hungry Horse, Martin-City and Coram-West Glacier!

We are honored for the nomination!

PS: Our President, Ben Shafer, has been nominated for Best Volunteer. 😉

To everyone who showed up for Cabin Fever Days — snow or no snow — thank you.

The true lovers of Cabin Fever Days aren’t fair-weather attendees. You show up, support, and celebrate with us no matter the conditions, and that means more than we can say.

When we realized the snow wasn’t coming and pivoted to the No Snow Barstoool Ski Show, we had no idea what to expect. But once again, our community showed up in the biggest way. The crowds lining Central Avenue and the bars filled to the brim reminded us what this event is really about — coming together, having fun, and raising funds for the volunteer fire departments of Bad Rock Canyon.

A huge thank you as well to our incredible sponsors and vendors whose support, time, and energy help make this event possible year after year.

We couldn’t do it without you, and we’re so grateful to celebrate this incredible community together.
