Colorado BBQ Challenge The Colorado BBQ Challenge is an annual festival celebrating BBQ and great music! Now at Copper Mtn!

In the 1990's, a few Colorado locals decided to BBQ and that informal celebration of food has since turned into one of the biggest BBQ events in the west. Each Father's Day weekend, more than 70 teams from across the country gather to compete in this Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event. Attendees not only enjoy the stunning mountain setting , but also the many activities, including a Bacon Burner 6k fun run and live music.
