The Coon Rapids Civic Center is the perfect place to host a wedding ceremony and reception, birthday party, family reunion or any other special event. With seating up to 230, the site features a banquet room, conference rooms and an outdoor patio and gazebo area. The banquet room also offers a full service kitchen, perfect for your own Minnesota licensed caterer. We are currently offering a great

deal on Thursday evening rehearsal dinners for anyone who books a Friday Wedding! Events that we have hosted include:

A Johnny Cash tribute band is coming to C**n Rapids tomorrow night! 🎵 🎤 🎶

Church of Cash will perform Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m. in the Civic Center.

Tickets can be purchased at the front desk of City Hall or at the door on the night of the performance. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. The price includes dessert and a beverage!

Brrrrrrrrrrr! 🥶

We hope everyone is staying as warm as possible on this frigid winter morning. A reminder about some changes today and tomorrow due to the extreme cold:

🌬️ The Senior Center is closed TODAY (Friday, Jan. 23). All activites are canceled. Senior Services staff will be available to answer phone calls. Regular activities will resume on Monday, Jan. 26.

♻️ The C**n Rapids Recycling Center is closed TODAY (Friday, Jan. 23). Also, on Saturday, Jan. 24, the Recycling Center will be opening later than normal. Operating hours on Saturday will be from noon to 3 p.m.

⛸️ Warming houses and skating rinks are closed TODAY (Friday, Jan. 23). Warming houses and skating rinks will reopen on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m.

Let the shopping begin! The annual Senior Bazaar is TODAY (Thursday, Nov. 13) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Civic Center, 11155 Robinson Drive.

Stop by to shop crafts, home décor, the Christmas Room, bake sale and much more! All proceeds benefit local charities. The event is sponsored by the Super Senior Club.

The final winter concert of 2025 is tomorrow night (Thursday, April 10). The Backyard Band (Variety) will perform at 7 p.m. in the C**n Rapids Civic Center.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. The annual Winter Concert Series is organized by the C**n Rapids Arts Commission.
