Believe me, this is one of the last posts we expected to make this year. Unfortunately, after a lot of discussion, we are going to have to cancel the 2025 edition of the Iowa Gravel Classic due to very low registration numbers. With the low numbers of pre-registered riders and the simple fact that we have seen a significant change in when participants register for smaller races, it makes it very difficult for race directors to predict the numbers they need to prepare for on race day. With that said, we didn't feel confident that we could provide you with the experience you have come to expect and deserve over the years from the Iowa Gravel Classic.
Please.....register early for the events you want to see around in the future! Grassroots gravel races operate on a very small budget, and most of that comes from pre-registered riders.
Enjoy your summer, and we'll see you this Fall at the Redfield Rock'N'Roll (September 13th) and the Spotted Horse Gravel Ultra (October 18th)!
