There were so many people and businesses that came together to help make the event possible, and this is just the first of a few โThank Youโ posts that weโll be making as we want to make sure to give credit where its due!
๐นFirst off, weโd like to say ๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to all of our Community Sponsors who so graciously donated funds so that we could ensure this to be the most enjoyable day for everyone.
๐น๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to the Cookeville Police Department for working with us from the start and then hanging out with us all day long during the event. Thank you to the City of Cookeville for granting us the permits needed to host the outdoor street festival.
๐น๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to TriStar Brew Works LLC for providing us with the awesome photo booth, VIP mimosa keg, and some beautifully crafted auction items. Landers Racing KTM and The Old Gray brought out their racing trailer which made for the perfect stage for music! They parked that thing like their lives depended on it, and made our vision for the music stage a reality, not allowing any obstacles to stop them! Allen's Tree Service, Inc. provided their truck to use as a barricade & flew our nationโs flag. And Tour the Upper Cumberland also lended us their van to use as a barricade.
๐น๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to all of the wonderful vendors and organizations who set up booths! You all gave life to the event and we couldnโt be more grateful.
๐น๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to ReelSound Productions for running sound, to Lily's Music, Mystique Productions DJ Tyrone, The BlackSheep, and Wild Guess Entertainment for keeping everyone entertained, and to the Army ROTC Golden Eagle Battalion at Tennessee Tech for presenting the colors to kick off the day.
๐น๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to Harrington For Hope and the rest of the Volunteers who selflessly gave their time to help make everything run smoothly! They all worked their tails off and we truly couldnโt have done it without them.
๐น๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to Kevin Burchett, our amazing auctioneer! And also shout out to all of the local businesses that donated to the auction. It looks as though this was our most successful one yet!
๐น๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to Tennessee Print Masters for the awesome tshirts! They were a HIT! And to Brandon Ledbetter, the event photographer for capturing the day! We canโt wait to see all of the pictures!
๐น๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ to each and every one of you who came out to support the cause and enjoyed the day with us!
๐นAnd last but certainly the most importantโฆto the brave men and women who gave up their freedoms and security so that we can have oursโฆ๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ผ! This event was for YOU! Operation United Hope, Dustoff_Ranch, Bobby Henline Foundationโฆour Veterans, Active Service Members, First Responders, and their familiesโฆwe commend and celebrate you for your service to our community and country!
If we forgot anyone weโre truly sorry, as there were SO many people involved with making the day happen. The 5th Annual Brunch for the Brave Festival was one for the books. Weโre already looking forwards to next year! โค๏ธ๐บ๐ธ
