Barbie Lu Hines is a proud Peruvian native and Conyers resident whose life reflects resilience, service, and community impact. Honored as the 2025 we3 Woman of the Year, she is a passionate leader, entrepreneur, and advocate dedicated to empowering families across Metro Atlanta. Overcoming early challenges—including raising her siblings on her own—Barbie turned adversity into purpose. She is the founder of B&R Retail and Wholesale LLC and B. Hines LLC, providing bilingual community services, and is also a notary, ordained minister, and nonprofit founder. Barbie is an active member of the Unidos Latinos Association and a graduate of the Rockdale County Citizens Police Academy, further demonstrating her commitment to community engagement and connection. Deeply devoted to service, she continues to uplift others through her work, volunteerism, and dedication to her family.

Gena has an avid love for musicals, beginning as just a high school student, when she was in The Adams Family. She’s a lover of all kinds of music, painting, and reading. With this being Gena’s first play as an adult, she is so excited for the opportunity to rekindle her love for performing and is so thankful to be part of such a wonderful production.

Lateefa Mosley is a dynamic force in theater, film, and acting. She holds an associate’s degree from Northampton Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. With credits as an assistant director on films such as It’s Major (2019), Fatima’s Revenge (2018), MidLife (2018), and Bad Intentions (2016), she has proven her talent behind the camera while also showcasing her presence as an actress on stage and screen.

As a director and writer for Blake Vision Entertainment, Lateefa has brought iconic figures like Tina Turner and Etta James to life through compelling stage productions. Her passion for gospel music shines through in works like Gospel Healed My Heart, where storytelling and inspiration come together to uplift audiences.

Whether acting, directing, or writing, Lateefa, a licensed realtor professional, consistently embodies her motto: dream, believe, and achieve.

Maurice Brando is from Beech Island, SC and has been acting for many years. He began as a member of a sketch comedy style show in Augusta, GA. He then moved to Los Angeles, CA to further pursue acting, taking part in various tv and independent film projects before moving to Atlanta, GA in 2020. He is now pursuing theater, landing a role in Motherhood Out Loud as well as a previous role in Stop Kiss.
