Hey All-
It is getting close for the Toad Suck Daze Air Parade presented by the Lollie Bottoms Pilots Association. We have several impressive aircraft committed such as T-28’s, TBM, T-6’s, Howard, Cirrus Vision Jet and many more. In addition, we will have the Bulldog Flight Formation Team joining us again this year.
We have great community support and several sponsors including Moix RV, TGI Fridays, Satterfield Oil, Centennial Bank, Sparrow Flying Club and many more! They have donated fuel as well as some awesome door prizes such as a Garmin 660, Zulu 3 ANR headset, hand-held radios, several gift cards to Aircraft Spruce and cases of oil! For a chance to win big…all you need to do is show up for the 4:00 briefing the day of the parade, enjoy $.50 fuel and be a pilot in the parade. We will be doing the drawings prior to the parade. In addition, Centennial bank will be donating and cooking hamburgers plus hot dogs starting early afternoon until the parade starts.
If you are interested in participating in this event, please respond to this post or email me at [email protected] with your name and details regarding the aircraft you will be flying as soon as possible but no later than April 26th. This is a critical part of the safety plan so we can get everyone lined up based on aircraft performance. Since the route is slightly modified, we will be having a preliminary route briefing on Wednesday, April 28th at the E5 hangar for anyone participating. This is not required but we highly recommend anyone that has not previously participated should attend.
This Air Parade will be Friday, April 30, starting after lunch and the parade will depart at 6:20 PM. All participating pilots need to be at the corporate hangar with their planes parked by 4:00 to start the mandatory safety and route briefing.
