Poche Plantation Arts, Crafts & Music Fall Festival GIVING BACK TO ST JAMES PARISH... The Saint James Parish site of Poche Plantation continues to host a charity arts and craft show in the fall! of 2014.

Vendors who once showed at the former Oak Alley Plantation Festival have moved to the 1870s plantation located in the center of Plantation Country along our famous River Road on the east bank of the river. The Nationally Registered Historic Poche Plantation, rooted in St. James Parish, is proud to be the host plantation for this beloved South Louisiana event. It all began in April of 2014, when by resolution, the Economic Development Board gave their praise and approval for the first charitable non-profit show, which like all shows in the future, was designed to benefit Saint James Parish. The new location held a successful fall debut show in Oct. Thankfully, the show has grown each year, with waiting lists of vendors wanting to be a part! Vendors have praised this geographic location, which is centered equally for a show that attracted crowds from both Historic New Orleans and our State's Capitol, Baton Rouge, stating the location is a major advantage and should continue to produce record breaking attendance as the show grows. This event is held in St. James Parish, by the citizens of St. James Parish, to meet the needs in St. James Parish for visitors from far and wide to enjoy!

Lots of vendors with unique items, food vendors, live music throughout the event, young entrepreneurs selling items they created, 1st Annual Car Show on Saturday morning and activities for children also.
