Just a reminder. I retired and moved to the mountains in Blue Ridge, Georgia, so please don’t bother the good people that moved into my old house! Lol!

I have some friends that have VERY nice displays that you should go see. The first is Chris Dodd, he’s on Facebook at “Dodd Family Holidays”. His address is on the page (The Woodlands) and I believe he runs snow from 6 to 8 on Saturday nights.
Next, also in The Woodlands, is Jason Greer “GreersWald Family Holidays Lights”. The address is 10 Amber Sky Pl, The Woodlands, TX, 77381.
Next is Ryan Johnson’s, “The Johnson’s Christmas Corner” (Facebook). He lives in Cypress, TX, and directions are on his page.
Another one I know about is my buddy Robert Schave. He lives at 186 CR 1605 in Crockett, TX. His display is spread out over half an acre! He also says there is a nice display in downtown Crockett and another on Polk Street which is also close to downtown Crockett.
The last display I know about is down in League City. Look up, on Facebook, “Edwards Family Light Show”. He still has his Halloween picture up but don’t let that fool you. He’s in full Christmas mode now! Directions are on his page.

I woke up with a scratchy throat and congestion. I guess I've got the crud. After dinner tonight my neighbor, Jean Tremonte, brought me some Red, White and Blue popsicles to make my throat feel better. I love my neighbors!!!

You know, it's always a long story! We were supposed to be in Florida, living in our RV, hob kn****ng with the snowbirds for the whole month of December (I'm retired!!!) but on our way home from a month in Georgia we got sandwiched by two 18 wheelers! The truck on the right took off our passenger mirror! Scary stuff but we're all OK, well, except the RV. That's why we're here! The RV is in the shop! I told Tamra if we're going to be here I'm putting out lights! So don't expect a huge production. This will be Christmas Lite!

So the status is, I got everything on the house hooked up and working tonight. I should have the front yard working by tomorrow night. Whatever I got I'll start turning on the lights tomorrow and just keep adding to it as I can!

PS - Northern Georgia is awesome! Beautiful country! We were there a month and it wasn't near enough time. We scooted up to Pigeon Forge and stayed a while. I rode all the coasters at Dollywood! That place was amazing! Rock City blew my mind also! I didn't even know it was there. Tamra found it online as something we should go see. Yep, I'm going back!

I retired! Tamra and I have been traveling around in the RV but we got back around the middle of December and I put out as many lights as I could. Not a big show this year but I think (hope) that little kids will like it. Have a very Merry Christmas!

My yard is soaked and the breakers are tripping. No lights tonight! Thank goodness we had nice weather through Christmas!

Whew! We barely made the full night tonight! The show ended at 10pm and the rain started at 10:01pm! It was a great night. It was so warm I was in a t-shirt and shorts. Typical December in Texas! Lol! AND, I heard that it might snow on Christmas! WHAAAAT?????? Crazy weather. Well, I have to go to bed (like all good elves) but I'll leave you with a little snippet of a favorite song.......
